Revamping of Existing Foundry at Hinduja

Hinduja Foundries has got plans to invest Rs. 30 to 40 crores for modernizing and revamping the existing two lines to enhance the capacity from 48000 MT to 55000 MT per annum.

Following are the proposals for revamping of the existing foundry:

1. Expansion of the moulding line to achieve additional 60 mts inmould cooling.
2. Change of sand cooler.
3. Addition of cold box core shooter.
4. Improving the fettling shop facilities.
5. Quality improvement of addition of methoding software.
6. Replacing of old toolings, addition of online testing and inspection equipments.
7. Addition of force and handling facilities in core shop, fettling shop etc.
8. Re-layout of various shops for free movement of materials, improvement of working ambience etc.

Also it is planned to put up a new Hand Moulding line with little bit of automation for producing heavy castings / low volumes to meet the domestic and export requirements.
